Our first Employment Law Seminar at Braintree’s Plaza Enterprise and Innovation Centre, also the first of 2023, was a huge success. Once again, we saw a brilliant turnout of the region’s HR professionals to hear latest employment law updates from our expert, Cas Carrington of KLC Law. More than 40 delegates attended to hear the latest and upcoming changes to UK employment legislation, helping our delegates to stay up to date on best practice.
The seminar touched on vital issues including; vexatious employment tribunal claims; harassment; health & safety dismissal; pro-ration; effective date of termination; gender critical beliefs; religious belief and lack of belief and constructive dismissal.
Cas also outlined which aspects of law governed by judgements delivered by the European Court of Justice still apply in the post Brexit UK legal landscape, and explained how this is likely to change in 2024.
There was so much information packed into a single morning as delegates were able to tap into Cas’s vast store of legal knowledge and expertise. In a relaxed and informal setting at our base at the Plaza, our guests were able to discuss a wealth of HR issues and question one of the UK’s leading experts.
