Finance Office Manager

£40,000 pro rata

21 hours per week

Our client, an established organisation based in Great Dunmow are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. This opportunity is offer on a part time basis of 21 hours per week either spread over 3 Full days or 4 hours daily, so can accommodate school hours .

Duties: –

  • Maintain accurate financial records using Xero
  • Process sales and purchase invoices
  • Provide Debtors and Creditors reports and details of weekly payments due
  • Process weekly and monthly payroll with submission to HMRC
  • Generate monthly reports and weekly cashflows for review by the Managing Director
  • Process and submission of the quarterly VAT return
  • Liaising with external Accountants and providing requested information
  • Reconciliation of the bank accounts
  • Assist with administrative tasks as required by the Managing Director

Requirements: –

  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager
  • Proficiency using Xero/sage software
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Accounting qualification essential
  • Full or Part Qualified desirable
