Since our launch in 2002, Lorraine has driven Pursuit to become one of the most reputable recruitment agencies in the local area. Established originally in Chelmsford, 2 years ago Lorraine made the decision to move the business to Braintree for better connections not only to Essex, but also Hertfordshire and Suffolk.
Whilst a large number of our clients are based in Essex, we also recruit for many amazing companies in Hertfordshire and Suffolk. We are continuously expanding our client base to ensure we bring a great choice of roles to our candidates. Because of this we are rapidly expanding our team.

Recruitment Consultant – Temporaries desk
We are excited to announce an expansion to our temporary recruitment desk. As a result we are looking for an experienced, energetic recruitment professional. This person will have a strong background in working in recruitment in Essex/ London/ Hertfordshire or Suffolk. Based out of Braintree – with ample parking – this role would be perfect for anyone looking to take on a new challenge and drive their career forward.
Resourcer
Also due to expansion – we will be recruiting a resourcer for the team to work alongside one of our experienced consultants. The successful candidate for this role will be able to multitask, think outside the box and have excellent literacy and computer skills. There is good career progression within Pursuit, therefore this role would suit someone with a lot of drive and ambition with the view of training to be a recruitment consultant in the future.
HR/Payroll Manager
Now that the team is expanding, we are looking for a right hand person who can assist Lorraine with the HR duties within the office. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the payroll and finance support to the Financial Controller. This is a varied role that will offer a diverse opportunity for the right candidate.
