My client is looking for a talented and proactive Senior Social Media Executive to join their premium food brand marketing team.
The ideal candidate will work closely with the Global Social Media Manager to execute social media strategy, create and organise aspirational content, and manage social media presence.
This role is essential in supporting the global social media strategy and ensuring effective day-to-day operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Community Engagement: Proactively engage with our social media community, fostering positive interactions and responding to inquiries in a timely manner. Effectively liaising with the consumer care team when a complaint or enquiry comes through the social channels.
- Social Media Management: Oversee daily management of social media accounts, including scheduling posts, responding to comments, and engaging with followers, ensuring interactions are in line with the brand’s prestige.
- Content Creation: Develop, create, and manage high-quality, visually appealing, and engaging content both in house and with agencies for various social media platforms, reflecting the brand’s luxury image.
- Content Calendar Management: Assist in the development and manage the maintenance of a social media content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting.
- Campaign Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of social media campaigns, ensuring alignment with the overall luxury marketing objectives.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyse social media performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to the Global Social Media Manager.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the marketing team and other departments to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all channels.
- Support: Provide support in crisis management and reputation handling on social media platforms.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and suggest innovative ways to improve our social media presence. Liaising with key stakeholders.
- Influencer Outreach: Identify and engage with relevant influencers and brand advocates to expand our reach and enhance brand credibility.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in social media marketing for a business or a related role, preferably within the luxury food sector.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to identify engaging content.
- Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
