Pursuit Resources are currently recruiting for a Sales Account Manager for our client, a well-established, rapidly growing supplier in the textiles industry.

Joining a social, busy and team-orientated Sales & Customer Service department, our client is looking for an experienced customer service candidate with experience in a telephone customer service role, ideally building and developing relationships.

Duties will include:

  • To manage and be accountable for a bank of clients
  • Developing new business via warm leads or website enquiries
  • Working to individual and team targets
  • To attend exhibitions and seminars (as and when required) on the Company’s behalf and to represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
  • To keep and maintain accurate records of all work completed in the course of the sales departments day to day activity.
  • To develop and service the client base and ensure that all customers are contacted on a regular basis.
  • To ensure that all sales enquiries and quotations are followed up efficiently in a timely manner.
  • To liaise with the Accounts Department, Production and Despatch Office regarding delivery schedules and payment terms.

Our client is looking for:

  • Self-motivated, ambitious and forward thinking, with the ability to work in a cross-functional sales team dealing daily with the design, accounts and production departments.
  • A bright, enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn.
  • Ability to understand complex projects and to be able to think on their feet.
  • Professional and confident with a good appreciation of the all the elements of the sales mix.
  • An excellent communicator (both written and oral), with the ability to express opinions and points of view in a clear, concise manner.
  • Strong analytical, administrative and organisation skills and great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines when required.
